I have a passion for the scientific knowledge necessary to achieve a beautiful artistic result, to craft amazing smiles, and create excellent oral health for those that I am honored to treat. Orthodontics allows me to give something unique to my patients: In caring for their smile, I change their lives for the better through life’s long journey.
I believe my profession is the best one in the world! Every day, I get to help so many wonderful and unique people. As an orthodontist, I am entrusted with building smiles. I am so very fortunate to love what I do and do what I love. Whether our team and I are working with the young or those who are young in spirit, our goal is always to develop the smile of their dreams. What is more, we get to build meaningful long-term relationships with patients. When we see them in our community, leading their lives with their loved ones, we get to see them happy and smiling with confidence!
Coming into contact with so many unique people has increased my understanding of what relationships mean. Our conversations are rewarding: I learn from them and we share stories about our lives. Each interaction leaves me thinking about something new, and prods me to grow in a new direction. It is an opportunity that I never take for granted. I cannot wait to meet you and your family and help you achieve the smile that will transform the rest of your life!
Education and Experience
I completed my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Temple University School of Dentistry in 1998, and my Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic. I earned my Master of Science degree and Orthodontic Certificate from Temple University in 2001.
I am a certified SureSmile® doctor, specializing in lingual braces, and am a Certified Invisalign® Provider for teens and adults. In addition to orthodontic treatment, I treat TMJ disorders and cleft lip and palate in both adults and children.
I am a life-long learner. Staying on top of the most up-to-date research and findings keeps me informed of how best to treat each patient. I take advantage of every continuing education opportunity my schedule allows. CE keeps me current on new developments in technology and treatments and allows me to learn from the leaders in the field as well as from my peers. I participate in numerous meetings, conference, lectures, and a study club with my local colleagues. This ensures I am able to provide my patients with the best options available to create their amazing smile.

In the Community
Community involvement and service is one of my greatest passions. I love the Jupiter neighborhood, and the families who live here. I am proud to business partner with many area schools as well as sponsor Lighthouse and Beacon Cove Elementary Schools Fun Fair annually. My team also provides our local schools with fun and educational programs on dental hygiene. Also, my wife, Ellen, is on the board of directors at Temple Beth Am and my children attend the Hebrew school. I look forward to growing with this amazing community for many years to come.
Outside the Office
I was born in Rochester, New York but have lived in the Jupiter area since 1973. I grew up speaking Spanish with my Argentinian parents and am fully bilingual. I have been happily married to my wife Ellen, since 1994. We have three amazing boys: Al Jr., Aden, and Enrique. Being a father has been the most rewarding challenge, and I look forward to seeing my children grow and become the remarkable individuals they are destined to become.
When I’m not in the office or with my family, I enjoy golfing, cooking, reading books, and listening to music. On the weekends, I can often be found off-shore fishing.
