“I have been practicing in Jupiter, Florida since 2002 and decided to specialize in orthodontics because I love the challenge of improving a person’s smile and self-esteem. It is wonderful to be able to serve my patients in this capacity. I am most dedicated to improving the quality of orthodontics, and I feel that my life has become richer due to the life experiences people share with me. Although we straighten teeth, it is the affect that a beautiful smile has on people that truly makes the difference in our patients’ lives.

Education and Experience
Dr. Alberto A. Vargas completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Temple University School of Dentistry in 1998. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic. Dr. Vargas earned his Master of Science degree and Orthodontic Certificate from Temple University in 2001.
Dr. Vargas is a certified SureSmile® doctor, specializes in lingual braces,and is a Certified Invisalign®Provider for teens and adults. In addition to orthodontic treatment,he treats TMJ disorders and cleft lip and palate in both adults and children. Dr. Vargas participates regularly in continuing education courses in order to provide the most up-to-date and advanced treatment available.

In the Community
Dr. Vargas is committed to serving the community in which he practices. He is a proud supporter of our local community schools and sponsors Lighthouse and Beacon Cove Elementary Schools funfairs annually. The Vargas Orthodontic team also provides our local schools with fun and educational programs on dental hygiene. Dr. Vargas and his team volunteer their time and orthodontic services at Loggerhead Marine Life Center, to help heal wounds to the sea turtles carapace by using orthodontic appliances. Vargas Orthodontics takes pride in being part of their patient’s community and lives!
Outside the Office
Dr. Vargas is a native of Rochester, New York and has lived in the Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens area since 1973. His favorite way to spend time away from work is with his family which consists of Augustin (father), Liana (mother), Roberto and Ricardo (brothers), Mariana (sister), wife Ellen, and three sons, Al, Jr., Aden, and Enrique. He enjoys fishing, snorkeling, cooking, golfing, reading books, and listening to music, and is most passionate about his family and helping others strive to be better.
